This atypical, delicately salmon-coloured rosé from Vertus (located in the famous Cote des Blancs) comes from a blend of 15% Pinot Noir and 85% Chardonnay.
Tasting notes: Red fruit aromas on the nose are followed by a fleshy palate and a nutty finish.
Food pairing: Great by itself as an aperitif you can pair this well balanced rosé with fish, escargots and shellfish.
Grape variety: 85% Chardonnary, 15% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay (red wine vinification)
Aging: Aged on the lees for 2 to 3 years.
